MATTHEW MORGAN

HEAD INSTRUCTOR

Matthew Morgan is the owner and head instructor of the AuSable Martial Arts Academy.

​

Mr. Morgan is a United States Veteran who proudly served with the United States Army in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He then went into the Police Academy and served as a Law Enforcement Officer for seven years.

​

He began his training in 1997 at the American Taekwondo Academy in West Frankfort Illinois. Since then he has also expanded his knowledge and training in different arts such as Bujinkan Taijutsu, Wing Chun, Filipino Martial Arts, and Jun Fan Gung Fu.

It has always been a goal of Mr. Morgan to be able to have a martial arts school in order for him to be able to share his knowledge in the various arts he trains in.

PAUL BAGGETT

Assistant Instructor

Paul joined the AuSable Martial Arts Academy from the first day we opened in 2018. He is a very dedicated and skilled martial artist and since joining our team, he now serves as an assistant instructor for the kids, teens and adult classes. 

Paul is a United States Veteran who proudly served with the United States Army for ten years.

PATRICK POTTER

Assistant Instructor
Lead Instructor Little Warriors Program

Mr. Potter is an Assistant Instructor of our team and serves as the Lead Instructor for our Little Warriors Program and he is very committed to providing students with the skills and tools necessary to prepare them for they journey on to the kids classes.

​

He has been with the AuSable Martial Arts Academy since 2019 and is a very skilled and dedicated martial artist that keeps pushing the limits of what he can achieve. Mr. Potter is our lead fitness trainer as well.

​

Mr. Potter is a United States Veteran who proudly served with the United States Marines.
